Tomah Mountain Outfitters offers premier Black Bear hunting experiences with hounds in the autumn woods of Maine. Our hunts cater to those seeking an exhilarating, action-packed early morning pursuit of trophy black bears.
Our hound hunts provide excellent opportunities for harvesting impressive Maine black bears, with many exceeding 300 pounds. We accommodate a minimum of 6 hunters per week, ensuring a dynamic hunting environment. For added variety, afternoon grouse and turkey hunting is available at no extra charge, providing even more hunting opportunities.

Hunters are responsible for their personal hunting gear, snacks, coolers, towels, and sleeping bags or linens. A Maine Non-Resident Big game hunting license ($115) and a Maine Non-Resident Bear Permit ($74) is required. For turkey hunting, an additional license is necessary at $20.
